I found it online. She has a really descriptive method which involves laying them on their tummy (with head turned to the right, arms up at either side of head and legs outstretched) and patting their bum and every 4th pat putting light pressure on their back. This is supposed to sooth them. I am speptical but curious.

I would put link on here but not sure how to. But if u search her name online she has a website which details the method.

Sounds a bit odd! But I have found that lying them on their tummy or side and just patting their bottom quite firmly (so their head wobbles a bit) is very soothing and sends most babies/toddlers off to sleep. Not sure about why outstretched arms and pressure on their back is necessary though. Loud sshing helps.

Thanks. I am going to experiment a bit with something similar.
