Hi, I was reading 2.5 yo DS 'Not Now Bernard' tonight and instead of showing th slightest interest in the monster eating the boy he was very interested in the fact both him and the monster take a cup of milk to bed!
And it got me thinking about whether there were any books that feature children going to bed, you know lights off night night on their own, it doesn't have to be what the stories about just so he can see this is what's supposed to happen
He's never been able to get to sleep on his own, he wakes up if I try to leave the room screaming and sobbing. We've made lots of progress recently with weaning him off bf and him spending time away from me without the screaming and panic, he seems ready for at least the idea of dropping off in bed without me. And I thought bedtime books might help that if anyone can think of one?
Thanks
