I've posted before about 6mo DD's sleep but in the last few days it has gone nuts, culminating in her refusing her pm nap today and although I put her to bed ultra early she is still going, thrashing around and squealing (she doesn't really cry) 4 hours after she last woke. Nothing will calm her.

She is a tummy sleeper, who I could usually pay to sleep if she wouldn't self settle but that isn't working. She just flips on her back and won't chill out or flip back even though she can.

She is now utterly overtired and I have no idea what to do to help her. She won't feed to sleep and is currently too wired to feed. At wits end.

Shameless bump. She eventually settled just after 6 but has already been up twice (and the toddler missed his nap at nursery so in for a fun night). Last night I put her down after an hour and 45 minutes (closer to the times that were working before), and it still took her an hour and a half to settle and she def wasn't overtired then.

Please someone tell me this is developmental or something and will pass!
