How do I get her to nap in her cot?

Hi there
I'm wondering if any MNers has similar experience of napping issues.

My DD 19 weeks happily sleeps in her cot at night. She goes down awake at 9pm every night and will sleep til 5am for a feed, before sleeping for another hour or two.

However, during the day, when she's tired, I put her in her cot and she will not settle, working herself into a state pretty quickly. She will nap everywhere else- on the bed with me, in car seat, pram etc just not her cot.

I need for her to have quality sleep during the day and her cot would be the best place. Can I overcome this? Any tips would be appreciated. I don't like the idea of CC.

Thanks

bumping - i have same problem, although the nights are terrible here too! 19 wk DS will be fed to sleep at night but will wake every 3 hrs (at least), but will not go down in the cot during the day, even if i feed him. Desperate to get a good nap routine happening; i'm sure it will help with the nights!

Sorry no advice - just to say I'm also struggling! Although my dd is only 12 weeks, so maybe she's just too young. Tedious though isn't it.
