Should I wake her?

Dd has been napping for nearly an hour and a half now (first nap of day- we are in Canada).
This is fairly unusual as sleeping is usually terrible though we are starting to make some headway with naps. Anyway, should I wake her or leave her? Will it interfere with sleep later if I leave her or just see what happens?

Sorry, this is probably a stupid thing to ask but its such an unusual occurrence!

what time is it there?
i have to say, i am a sucker for leaving ds to sleep... can't bear to wake him up!

How old is she and what time is it in Canada?

colditz · 14/03/2006 17:21

If it is before 3 pm, I would be inclined to leave her to sleep it off. Then put her to bed at normal time, and do exactly the same forever for as long as it worksGrin

Its 11.20am and she is 9 months. She tried to get up at 4.30am, got her back to sleep at 5.50-7.20 and she went for nap at 9.45. Its a little different from usual routine (if you can even call it that!) as we got up later (usually up nearer 6)

My motto is never let them nap after 4pm to ensure a decent bedtime Grin.

starlover · 14/03/2006 17:24

yeah i'd definitely leave her then

bobblehead · 14/03/2006 17:24

Thanks Colditz- I feel like I'm holding my breath waiting for that cry! At the moment anything different is good as it leads me to false hope tonight may be the night she sleeps through!Grin
