Insomnia!

I have now actually managed to spend a whole night without sleeping at all. I have had about 10 hours sleep
since Thursday and am hoping there is someone out there who can tell me they have survived to tell the tale after so little sleep. I feel shocking today and my dds are getting short shrift
The doc prescribed me beta-blockers for anxiety and I think these have made me worse. And now it's hard to tell what symptoms I have from lack of sleep and what is because of the anxiety. Please reassure me!

Oh no, sympathy from me :(

Do you think you have anxiety? If so, what do you feel anxious about?

I did have anxiety which manifested itself physically. But I think my head is sorted now. I certainly wasn't lying awake because I was anxious, it just seems to have become a habit that I can't let go
and surrender to sleep

Poor you - i had terrible insomnia when DS was little, started from all the interupted sleep but continued on when he started sleeping though. In fact that's when it got worse.

Doc perscribed Anti-D's and sleeping pills. Hated the thought or relying on sleeping pills so never too them but the Anti-D's gradually did the trick and brought my anxiety back down. Not suggesting this is right for you but could be worth a thought if you have anxiety too?
