FFS! 4.30am?! Really?!

Just a mini rant. DS (22mo) up 4 times in the night - not night terrors exactly, just really upset sobbing (after the 2nd time I gave up and co-slept with him to no avail).

He then, upon the 4th time at 4.30am, decided that it was getting up time - and would not desist from screaming when I tried to persuade him otherwise. So we're up, I suspect the houseful of guests we have are also awake.

And I feel like crap. I've only had a max of 1.5 hours sleep. And DH is going away today (possibly the cause of the upset!) with one guest for the whole day, and I have to entertain the other guests (my lovely DF and my slightly irritating SM) until they leave this afternoon.

DH has taken DS out for a drive (love him so much for that!) but I can't sleep. I'm too tired.

Today is going to be hell. Tomorrow also not so hot as DH and BIL are going to be hungover (they're doing a whisky tasting trip) and I'll have to cope again.

Off to buy a gro-clock this afternoon!

Can't your dad and am have him while you hap a nap, is there a park they could go too?

Btw groclock didn't work for mine, it's too scary Hmm and won't have it turned on for longer than 1 minute.

Normally DF would be fabulous and do just that, but he's broken his arm (full cast/sling etc) and I just don't trust SM.

Have managed to lie quietly and chill listening to an audio book for a bit though, so feeling refreshed... kindof!

Will try the groclock though - DS loves time and clocks so fingers crossed!

I bought a gro clock yesterday for ds. He woke me at 5.45 to tell me his clock says its nighttime but it is morning.
Its horrible when they wake you up to early. Does he still have a nap? You could sleep when he does.
