Just that really - how many naps and for how long?

Hi lucid,

Suspect it varies from baby to baby. My 8mo seems to be reducing his daytime naps at the moment and they're all over the place - we've worked out through experimentation that he needs 2-2 1/2 hours in total during the day if he's going to go down at a reasonable hour during the evening.

Sorry can't be more helpful!

Generally something like 30 minutes-1 hour in the morning and 1-3 hours in the afternoon seems normal. Around 14 hours total in 24.

At that age I think my ds did:
6.30am awake
9.30am - 45 minute nap
1.30pm - 2 hour nap
7.30pm - asleep
