Dummy trouble

From about 11weeks we introduced a dummy to our DD now 5months. This was because she found it extremely difficult to fall asleep - far too busy looking around and being nosey. It was a life saver! She went from having maybe 1 hours sleep all day to having regular naps and going down well at night. she only has it for sleeps so it is now a huge sleep cue. Dummy in, lights down and off she goes. Unfortunately over the past couple of weeks she has started waking up every 45 - 90 mins needing the dummy back in to go back to sleep. It feels like such a step backwards for her and for me! I am struggling to cope with the interrupted sleep. I am considering trying to get rid of the dummy but am not sure how to go about it. Am thinking about PUPD or some sort of CC but I'm not sure I could do it to be honest. Any advice or support from anyone who has done this before would be amazing.

Well you could go and ditch the dummy, I just put a shed load of dummies in dd's cot so there would always be a dummy that she could put into her own mouth

Yes I want to get rid of it and would like advice from anyone who has done it in someone about 5 - 6 months old. She cant put it back in consistently yet unfortunately.
