I love my toddler dearly but he is a b*dy pain!!! 4.50am this morning he was screaming the house down in his cot. There's no way he would have gone back to sleep so I brought him into our bed and he screamed and fought with me while I tried to wrestle him to lie down. Eventually I gave up as he was about to wake his sister up and brought him downstairs. He is now happy as anything, watching cbeebies on sky plus....monkey

DD, 6 months, slept until 5:30 this a.m. She's often up at 4:30. Currently bfing, hoping she'll go back to sleep.

me23 · 06/07/2012 05:57

Oh god I can't even write a message properly! I was saying no more children for us I can't go through this a third time, dd also woke early though she slept through from around 8 months.

me23 · 06/07/2012 05:58

Oh and ds is bf too.

Chubfuddler · 06/07/2012 05:58

Dd presses the buttons on my iPhone while feeding, mn is littered with my half posts.

CuriosityCola · 06/07/2012 05:59

spotty same situation here now. Ds has done a big poo, had nappy changed, chewed the door stopper for a bit, drank more milk and happily went back to the land of nod.

I'm now awake, a wee bit grumpy and debating if I could sneak away to grab some cereal.

Dh is home early today at 3pm. I'm so pleased. Just another 9 hours to go. Yes please to coffee.

Chubfuddler · 06/07/2012 06:01

Well I have a 7.30 breakfast meeting do going to shower.

(keels over again)

4lbsOfShiteInA2lbBag · 06/07/2012 06:18

Awake since 4am bf-ing 6 day old DD who apparently has hollow legs...can't imagine where else she's putting all this milk!

SpottyTeacakes · 06/07/2012 06:22

We're all up now, got to leave in half an hour

Abzs · 06/07/2012 06:25

Just pulled an all nighter to finish some work before the client goes on holiday tonight.

No screaming DCs here, just fusspot cats who are confused by my being up before them.

fivegomadindorset · 06/07/2012 06:29

5.18 as my daughter says she has fleas Hmm, she is now in bed with DH and I am up, if he gets up in the next ten minutes I can go to work early.

holly47 · 06/07/2012 06:39

Oooh, relieved so many others are awake at such a ridiculous hour. My toddler's good mood has now passed and he is wailing and howling round my legs, totally overtired, just as we're about to all try and get ready for the day...sigh...can't believe it's not even 6.45am yet!

fififrog · 06/07/2012 18:18

I was just in denial (4.40 here)...

eastendywendy · 06/07/2012 19:12

Dd woke at 0030am last night. She finally settled at 4am. I couldn't sleep though until 530 and thunder woke me at 6am. Then had to drive 200 miles today. Just about to try and get kids to bed now.

Exhausted.
