DS is 12mo and bf. Having had chickenpox and wanting extra milk durin the day, my boobs are sore and I no longer want to have to feed him to sleep! So this evening I fed him and then changed his smelly nappy(didn't realise he had pooed) and put him in his cot. Sitting in the chair next to his cot, I just watched him for the beat part of an hour. He started off playing, then whinging, then crying and starting to put his head on the mattress. Eventually, he put his head down and has been asleep for the last 30 minutes! Hurrah!
Sadly, I have to be out tomorrow night so have given DH strict instructions. I really hope this works. Smile

Second day-complete fail. Sad DH in charge as I was out, DS still awake and crying when I got home almost 3 hours later. Not a happy household. Given in and am bf and will try afresh tomorrow...
