Would you use this mattress?

Visiting home for a month and have managed to borrow a cot for my 3month old. Is owned by neighbour for grand kids visiting and as such has barely been used..

Would you use the mattress in these circumstances or buy a new one? Not sure what risk levels are hoping someone will have an idea!

Personally I wouldn't put my child on a mattress that had been used by another child. Ikea sell dirt cheap cot mattresses for £14.99, which are thin enough to roll up for traveling.

Yes I would use it.

I would use it. I would put a clean waterproof cover over it, and two or three sheets (I always wrap cot mattresses well, to prevent any leakages getting to the mattress anyway). However, having seen desperately's post, I would also consider the Ikea mattress.
