10 weeks ago I posted a thread about my then 9wk old DD's frequent night wakings. I thought she was waking out of habit rather than hunger so was trying to make her only have two feeds in the night.
I was advised to feed on demand, and reassured that she would drop the night feeds when she was ready. This felt like a backward step for me, but I did and she was having 4 feeds during the night.
3 weeks after this we put her on hungry baby formula and she dropped to 2 feeds then, suddenly, last week (at 18wks) she dropped her night feeds altogether and sleeps from 7-7.
I also used to take her into bed with me to settle if she was finding it difficult, and she has grown out of this too, spending all her time sleeping in her cot.
