Can anyone give mw some advvice?
MY little girl who is nearly 13 months goes to sleep at night and after a few hours wakes up and stands in her cot, i have tried put her back down but it dosent work she just stands again and i end up bringing her to our bed just to get some sleep. Last night she was standing up at 11.20pm and i tried for 2& half hours to lie her down and to try and get her to go back to sleep i didnt work so i ended up bringing her to our bed just so i could get some sleep. Just really do not know what to do or what to try next, i really do not want her to get used to sleeping in our bed. Its been going on for about a week now.

Is she just learning to stand up /walk at the moment? It may just be a phase because she's going through that developmental stage. My DD (12 months) is just learning to walk at the moment and she is constantly trying to stand up. Sometimes it's like her head is asleep, but her legs are insisting on standing up.

Is she upset/calling for you when she's standing up? If not, then if you didn't lie her down again, what would she do (would she perhaps eventually lie down again herself)

We co-sleep, so not such a problem for us. But I seem to remember this stage before with her brothers, and that once they've mastered walking, they don't do this any more. Hope that's the case for you!
