Ds1, just two used to be a great sleeper after we did controlled crying at 1. Recently he keeps waking at 10:50 every night but because he now shares a room with his brother I can't do what I would normally do which is control cry him again after checking he is ok has dummy etc.
I think it started after he had a virus about 10 weeks ago.

Help me I can't do this much longer. I have to get him up so not to wake DS2- both awake is much worse!
DS1 will then either sleep in our bed- not at all ideal or he is just awake and then won't really go back to sleep or will wake at 3:30.

I'm very very tired!

He naps for 1 hour I've cut it from 1 hour 40- 2 hours.

Ideas welcome.

Where did you do the controlled crying? Was it in an other room? Could you put to him sleep in there so you could have an other go at the controlled crying and put him back in with his brother in a few days when his sleeping pattern has improved?

Is something waking him up? DS started waking at midnight every night - turns Out there was a rogue alarm clock waking him up!

I have no idea what's triggering it but have pulled his brother out when DS1 wakes.
DS1 was asleep by 9 and slept all night!
He looks so much better for it.
Will continue this until he sleeps normally again.

One child does not normally wake another when crying. Thought this was just a twin thing but seems to be the same with other siblings

Annoyingly my youngest can wake the eldest by crying
