Could this be a development thing?

My poor sleeping DS has got even worse. He has just turned one and has had what seems to me to be an explosion in his development - walking, climbing, waving, pointing, trying to
communicate. This is all lovely but he has started waking for three hour periods in the night. He has always woken lots but gone back to sleep quickly with a bf.

Please tell me it's something to do with his development spurt and that it too will pass.

:)

Sorry to hear he's sleeping worse lady. They say everything is a stage, everything is developmental, so my guess is that he's got a lot going on up there and he wants to practice or just can't shut off :( Feel for you. DS's sleep has been shocking lately.

Thanks tickle. It's like one step forward, two steps back here. He had a week of good nights, then back to the worst it has ever been.
