Can anyone help me please my son wont sleep through its been going on for the past 5 weeks and he is waking up at 5am EVERY morning wanting to get up? Im a single parent who works full time and its starting to take it toll, ive even asked nursery to cut out his afternoon sleeps so that he sleeps better in the evening. He goes to bed about 7.30-8pm then he's up in the middle of the night crying, sometimes i have to put him in with me just so i get a half decent nights sleep but then he is still waking at between 5-5.30am wanting to get up. Help please if anyone can it would be much appreciated x

how much is he napping during the day? And at what time? Sometimes its the timing of the nap more than the length that can affect/cause early waking. That said, at his age it may well just need a nap cut.
