Gro clock?

Ds is 3yo he wakes every day without fail at 6am I also have a 6 month old so I'm up at least once in the night and I'm getting exhausted!
In desperation I bought a gro clock, it took me an hour longer to get him to sleep as he kept getting up to tell me it wasn't yellow yet Confused then he got up for the day at 5.30am [yawn]

Do these clocks actually work and if so how do I get my son to respond?

I feel your pain OP!
Took a bit of time but ours now works a treat. We just kept saying to DD that she couldn't leave her room till the sun was on, kept on saying it and saying it (and tried not to lose patience). We have a compromise that if there's one star left then she can play in her room till the sun appears. We adjust the clock for weekends so that everyone gets half hour extra, lovely Smile

Thyme work for my dd2 three years old. At the mo it is probably novelty value. I just kept reading the story and putting her back in her room and saying you need to stay her until the sun is on your clock even if you play with your teddies quietly. She now stays in bed till 6.30 which is good for us Grin

It took our son from 5 am wake up to 7, at two. A few days of taking back to bed and explaining that the sun wasn't up solved it. This morning he shouted for me at 6.30 and when I explained he had to have obe more sleep before the sun came up he went back to bed Smile
