19mo still doesn't sleep through - common?

Hey just wondering how many of you have 19mo+ DC who still don't sleep through. My DS wakes between 1 and 3 times, every night. I have tried EVERYTHING. He has slept through, rarely, so I know he can do it. It is starting to wear thin though. Any tips? He has a sippy cup of milk before bed, and nothing during the night.

My 18mo doesn't sleep through. I don't know the answer; I guess they'll grow out of it eventually.

I suppose we are just 2 of many mothers searching for the holy grail which is a full night of blissful, uninterrupted sleep.

Don't want to depress you but my children who are 5 and 11 years old still don't sleep through the night....needing a drink, going to the loo, bad dreams, can't sleep etc. most nights. Their older brother does sleep through now though... He is 15.

Eventually you sort of get used to it.
