hi, we are having trouble with my 4yo not sleeping and i would like some advice i dont know what to do!
he goes to bed every night between 7 and 7.30 but wont go to sleep before 9pm! he just sings and chats to himself untill he eventually falls asleep. he has also been waking about 6.30am so by bed time he is absolutely shattered but will not give in!
Iv taken all the toys out of his room so he has nothing to play with, but he rarely gets out of bed anyway, just sits on his bed singing and talking.
Iv tried going in every so often to tell him to go to sleep/ lay him down
we have also got a reward chart for him so if he goes to sleep before 8pm he gets a star, and once he has 20 stars we will take him to thomas land. this has been going on since before xmas, we had 2 weeks of good sleeping but then he got a chest infection and its all gone to pot again! any advice will be greatly appreciated :)
