16wk old sleep regression - daytime nap question

We appear to have hit the classic 4 month sleep regression problem.

I am working on the basis it is that and just hoping it will all settle down again.

My question is that as a result of poor nighttime sleep my ds is understandably more sleepy during the day and the last couple of days has been having longer naps. As long as he gets enough feeds (ebf) should I just let him sleep as much as he wants (within reason) or is that going to exacerbate the problem or even result in him swopping night for day?

I would keep naps to a max of 3 hours if I were you - good luck getting through it.

No I don't think he'll nix up day and night. Keep naps in busy places but I wouldn't restrict sleep until after 4.30/5pm so he goes down for bed ok. I also don't think 3 hours is anywhere near enough for a 16 week old. I'd say more like 4-4.5 hours.
