help! dd refusing to sleep in her cot!

DD is 3 months old and has had a bit of a cold recently, last time she had a cold she slept in her rocker chair thingy until she could breathe easier as its more upright and we have done the same this time. she used to feed to sleep with no problems at about half ten-ish most nights and sleep through in her cot or just wake once for a feed/change.

however now it seems she is refusing to go back in her cot. the cold has almost passed, only slight sniffles now and every single time i put her down in her cot she wakes up immediately and starts rubbing her eyes constantly, she also seems to be scratching her head a lot. she does have dry skin and a bit of cradle cap but this never seemed to bother her before so unsure if its that that's waking her.

she just seems to get so over tired that she sometimes doesn't go off till midnight for over a week she's had to be in her chair plus a swaddle so she doesn't rub eyes/scratch head! i didn't want to go back to swaddling as i'd managed to get her to sleep without one ages ago and she was sleeping through for a while in her sleeping bag. she's even struggling to nap in the day time at the moment and i'm exhausted! has anyone else experienced this? what can i do to fix this? i am beyond knackered! thanks in advance.

forgot to say she's waking up more in the night, either due to swaddle escape or just for a change/feed. reluctant to swaddle her in her cot as she can roll over now but cant really roll back again... worried that if i swaddle her she'll roll and her face will get stuck against the mattress or something! sorry for rambling post, hope it makes sense!
