Taking 8 wk old away at Easter

We're going to my cousin's for 5 days over Easter and am worried about what it'll do to 8 wk old DS sleep pattern. He sleeps well at the moment- a 6 hour stretch, then a 3 hour stretch at night. My cousin has a cot so He should be comfy, but what else can we do to help him maintain his good sleeping routine? Has anyone else been away with a wee one? I probably over-thinking it aren't I?!

Use you own linen - the smell will be familiar. Take any mobile/music you play him at night with you.

If you use a grobag then put ds in it the night before and take the same one with you, again so the smell is familiar.

Just keep your timings and bedtime routine similar. But if sleep goes doolally don't blame the holiday - unlikely u less you're going to a different time zone!

Try not to worry, in all likelihood everything will be fine. He's too little to be too fazed by new surroundings, as long as you're there he'll be happy I'm sure! We took our DD on holiday when she was 9 weeks old & I worried beforehand about the effect on her sleep, but it was all fine, in fact she slept better than she did at home!!
