My 5 month old usually cries for anywhere from 15 mins to 30 mins while I pat her off to sleep- and this is the only way she will normally drop off. Tonight, she fell asleep within minutes of being in her cot, without so much as a tear and only a couple of pats (which I doubt she wanted) from me. She also brought up her bf just before I put her to bed, so now I am worried that rather than her finally getting to grips with going off to sleep at night she may be sick. She doesn't have a temp and is sleeping soundly, but I can't help checking on her every 5 mins.
Am I justified in worrying about this or should I be cracking open a bottle to celebrate??
