Are we just weird?

Just now, dd shouted "It's not fair!" several times and ran out of her bedroom. I eventually found her sitting on ds1's bed, eyes open, but still fast asleep.

Ds1 was deeply asleep on the floor next to his bed.

Ds2 sleepwalks every night, without leaving his bed.

Ds1 and dd sleepwalk around the house several times a month. They must have some awareness, as they generally end up wherever dh and/or I are.

Last night I woke screaming and panicking, according to dh. I remember the waking, but I remember the dream that preceded it as quite pleasant and beautiful, not a nightmare at all.

Just now I realised that I'm not bothered at all by all this. It's so commonplace in this family as to be normal.

But is it normal? Or are we just weird?

It's normal. I have a sleep walking/talking toddler which does scare me when he stands infront of my face staring at me! He doesmt do it often though.

My brothers and sisters also sleep walk so I sort of expected my son to.
