Hi all, my dd is bf and now as 14mths mixed in with food and formula. She sleeps generally well I suppose. I'm not overly worried really but I do have a question and would like experiences please.
I have pretty much always let myself be led by her as to what to do and when. I've worried about various things and when crunch came found if I followed her lead the problem or question resolved itself. Dd presently is bf and bottle fed on my lap to sleep. Ive got a good routine sorted. Mostly it works although it gets sticky if ill or teething naturally. I do sometimes wonder about how it will develop though and maybe here you can help me....
Has anyone not resorted to controlled crying or a prescribed method by a book? Has anyone found that sleep has altered as their baby just grew up? Maybe got to big for your lap so your routine altered by circumstance? Or do you eventually have to follow one of these plans? What if you didn't? Would at 3 they still be unable to sleep naturally? Is sleep really taught like this or is some of this just ways at making me feel extremely inadequate and spend money?
I wonder about this sometimes if dd has woken and I'm trying to resettle her at 230am. Just wondered what you all thought?
