Just wondering when babies start sleeping for more than 2 - 3 hour stretches ?

My little one did at around 5-6 weeks old. We would feed him at 7pm & he started waking at 11pm for a feed & then this stretched to 12am & then 1am, and he would then wake every 3hrs thereafter. HTH.x

My 5 month old is showing no signs! She did 9-4-7 once at about 12 weeks but has never gone longer than 3 hours before or since :(

My DD started having a first night stretch of 4-5 hours at about 8 weeks then lost it about 15 weeks and at 23 weeks has not regained it.

Ok so we are at 10 weeks, I guess I just have to keep my fingers crossed that it will happen.

Think my DD started doing longer stretches around 3 months. Don't be despondent if you get loads of replies saying their older babies still sleep for very short stretches - most people who come on the sleeping forum have bad sleepers (otherwise we'd be off having fun in Chat!) so you're getting a skewed sample!
