Waking hourly

7 month DS is waking hourly, for the last week it's been getting worse, but I don't think it can get worse than this.

He no longer puts himself to sleep or self settles. I don't know what to do. I am going
back to work next week, I can't do this.

He used to only wake a couple of times a night.

I can't co sleep as DH smokes.

What can I do? I feel so ill.

Is it teeth? Have you tried calpol just to see if it improves at all?

My 7month old daughter is ridiculously bad at sleeping, at her worst was only letting me sleep for 10 minutes at a time, we ended up co-sleeping - but has got better after we did the baby whisperer pick up put down method (now self settles when first put down, and can manage 4-5 hour stretches). Yes it involved crying, but lots of cuddling too.. I'd read up everything on it before trying it though - as there is quite a specific method to it.

Most of all - Big Hug... you can and will get through it and it is just a phase.

Thank you! I tried giving Calpol and he put himself to sleep this evening and woke up at 10 to have a shout and now for feeding which is much better.

I will do some research into that method.
