Is wind stopping him sleep?

7 month old DS used to self settle at 7, then wake two, sometimes three times a night. He has always been quite a windy baby.

Since yesterday he is waking every hour and won't be put down. I have been holding him for two hours trying to get him to settle. I just don't know what to do.

The only difference seems to be that he is passing lots and lots of wind. He may be teething, but isn't rolling yet.

(D)H is cross as he can't sleep but thinks I
should leave him to scream. I can't cosleep because DH smokes and DS wont settle anyway.

Does anyone have any experience of this? Is passing wind painful for babies?

I am now

Hey Scrivette, did you have any luck with this? I've been having wind/sleep issues but without much passing wind, just seeming to need to and doing so very belatedly. I've started to try infacol - only 2nd night so hard to tell yet how effective it is...
