Shall I continue to co-sleep?

DS is 2.5 and we co-sleep sometimes when DS wanders into my room in the middle of the night. DS stays at his dads a couple of nights a week and ex is insisting that I get DS to sleep in his own bed because DS gets up in the night and ex has a struggle to get him back into his own bed. This results in ex's np and children being disturbed - he (ex) lives in her house.

Ex also mentioned something about it not being good for DS to co-sleep - don't agree.

I've done as ex asked Hmm but now I'm wondering why. DS still wants to cuddle up to me and I don't want to tell him he can't.

Would you be putting DS back in his bed in the middle of night ?

Interested to get some points of view.
