A bit of planning ahead here but does anyone know if a three year old can sleep in an adult double bed (on her own in her own room) without any obvious problems?!

Can't imagine why not... they can sleep in own smaller bed after all. Less likely to fall out would be only difference I could think of. Possibly tricky if she sleeps over at friends and isn't used to smaller size - but kids are adaptable so she'd probably only fall out once Grin

My dd is just 2, still in a cot, may change to cot bed as bed soon but by 2.6 at latest we plan to put her in double (need to keep it available for when family come to stay & dc2 imminent!).

I have no advice I'm afraid, but wondered too.
