Tooth Brushing...how do you fit it into the bedtime routine?

My DD has 2 tiny teeth. Now that I've stopped squealing and taking photos of their insane cuteness, it's dawned on me that I need to brush them. How is it best to fit this into a pretty established bedtime routine? We currently do bath, pyjamas, final bottle of milk, straight into cot.

Do I have to do the brushing after final bottle of milk?

Do you take your baby to the bathroom to do it or could I do it in her room?

Do I need to use toothpaste at this stage or just the brush?

we always do it in the bath, never did it after milk as he was so sleepy.

You should do it after milk because milk is very sugary. You could do it in her room if you wanted, just use a smear of paste.

After milk. We did it in either the bedroom or bathroom.

Agree after milk. We do it in bathroom, & then he goes to bed.

I do it before the bath, as to begin with ds (6mo) sometimes got a little upset when I brushed them, and we like to keep everything nice and calm after the bath, if poss. Can't do it after milk as ds (usually) falls asleep on the boob.

Another here for on the Bath. DS wakes up too much if I do it after milk.

Oh, and I use a tiny tiny smear of toothpaste. Brush teeth in his room. Not much point going into bathroom as he's too young to rinse and spit!

In the bath before bedtime bottle for a while, I remember being so in awe of my oldest Ds first two teeth I didn't think to clean them for about 6 weeks and then one day woke up and thought oh shit I'd better buy a baby toothbrushGrin
