Sleep regression...does it revert?!

(Please say yes...!)

DD2 is 14 weeks and between 9 and 12 weeks she started sleeping through (I have never had this before at this age so was chuffed to bits) going down at about 9:30 and sleeping til 7:30ish. Then we went away at Christmas and she started waking once in the night, feeding andxstayong in my bed til morning - I put this down to being unsettled/in an unfamiliar house and also wondered if it was colder at my mum's house. She had slept through one night since then (and I thought we'd got back to our settled home routine) but every night since she has woken at least once to feed (I think) and last night woke three times Sad. It's so frustrating as I know she can do a long sleep, so why has she stopped doing it...?! Could this be this 4-month sleep regression thing?? (New concept to me, even though she is DC4) Does it reverse by itself?! Will I ever be spoiled with a whole nights sleep again...?! Pretty tired today. MPD

I'd love to know. Dd2 slept for 5 - 9 hr stretches between 8 and 15 weeks. Now she's 17 w & she wakes every 1.5 - 3 hrs. I'm so gutted! She naps more too. Hoping it will pass... Dd1 didn't sleep through till 20 months so no experience there!

Yes, it does revert Smile

I had very similar with DD1 in that I got her sleeping through at about 10 weeks. Then we went on holiday and it messed her up a bit but she started going through again. Right before she hit 4 months her sleep regressed, I was feeding her much more at night and felt lost. It improved again at around 5-6 months, although she still woke once for a feed and at 7 months she started going 8-6 again. Fear not, things will resume back to normal soon!!

Please let this be true! I am going slowly mad through lack of sleep after an unexpectedly charmed early babyhood with dd2 (third dc). She's teething but it's got increasingly bad the last week or so and she must have woken every two hours at best last night. Probably every hour and a half really and unsettled in between. Aargh. Personality and enthusiasm for life distinctly lacking today and horribly grumpy all the time Sad
