Dropping nap at 15.5 months??

Hi, this is the third night (in a row, at least, on and off for a while now) that my 15.5 DD has had terrible trouble going to sleep. She's trying and I'll stay with her an hour (feeding or lying quietly) but after that I have really had enough. Done cc with some success and she now at least knows what I expect of her and has stopped just mucking about, but she just doesn't seem tired enough. My DS didn't drop naps til 2.7, although he was a 5am waker whereas DD is 7.30 am (helped by lying with me a lot tho in the second half of her night). She has about an hour and a half nap from 1/1.30 - is it worth dropping this to 45 mins or something? Is this even a full cycle? The alternative I suppose is that I accept her crying a bit when I leave her to go to sleep, but I don't like doing that. But maybe she needs her nap AND to learn to go to sleep by herself, I just don't know!!

My DD used to be like this. I would think she still needs 1 - 1.5 hours during the day but it probably depends on how active she is.

My DD is now 17 months old and she started not wanting to go to bed, so now we always go out in the afternoon after her nap so she can get some fresh air and exercise and now she's always ready for bed at 7pm and sleeps until 7am.
