Ds2 is 2.2, he was an ok sleeper but then when me and dh went on hols last year and he stayed with the ILs he became a nightmare.
Anyway we did CC for 3 nights and he was fab, could put him down awake and he would sleep 8-7am.

Fast forward a year, he had a really bad virus and cold and ended in with me an dh for about a week, then he wouldnt go back to sleep in his own bed.
So over xmas we did CC again, which has worked but every single night without fail he cries/screams when i lie him down, he will cry for about 5 mins, i usually go in and lie him down and then he settles.

Dh thinks he hates his bed Hmm or is scared of something, but nothing has changed.

Any ideas?

DS went through a stage of not wanting to go to bed, what we did was to slow the bedtime routine right down - we had become a bit lax at it as he was older and assumed he didn't need it as much.

So before his bath we would say, we're going to have a bath in x minutes and then we'll read stories and then have a cuddle and then it's bedtime. Then when he was in the bath / out of the bath / after stories we would repeat what was coming up. I have found that DS, even from a young age dealt with things much better if I told him what to expect.

Hope that helps!
