Duvets and pillows

My 9 1/2 month old pretty good sleeper has started moving lots in the night and is getting really twisted up in her sleeping bag.. her current favourite sleeping position is on her knees with bum in the air! Can't believe she is comfortable but she insists. Anyway, I know that the general advice is to wait until they are 1 before introducing duvets and pillow but I'm sure she will be more comfortable this way. I'm just worried that she'll go back to kicking off the covers and getting cold.. any advice? experience of this? Many thanks!

My DD was the same, I would GP for the duvet and leave the pillow for the moment, I gave mine a pillow when she was 16 months (although I won't deny that it was mostly to do with me feeling secure that she would be safe with one)

John Lewis do great toddler corned pillows and duvets which are not too heavy an are fully breathable.

Fwiw, DD has slept through the night from me removing the grobag, she likes to sleep with her bum in the air and always seems most comfortable... Don't know how Grin

That should have read 'I would go for the duvet' not GP.

What about one of those padded sleep suits that mothercare do
