My dd is nearly 1. We've put her to bed around 6.30 since she was about 4 months as that's when she started rubbing her eyes. She still starts to rub get eyes then but she won't actually go to sleep until 7.30. Are we putting her to bed too early do you think?

Well we've always gone for 7.30, although sometimes a wee bit earlier if she has had a long day at the childminders. She will not have quite as long a nap on those days so she's more tired. But, generally speaking, 7.30pm.

My 16 month old goes to bed at 8, has done for about 6 months. Partly because it is important to us to all eat together in the evenings, and partly because he sleeps for about 10.5 hours a night and 5.30am mornings were not fun!

Between 6.30 and 7 here. I need him in bed by then regardless of whether he goes to sleep or not so that I can do homework and reading with my big ones without being disturbed. I plan to keep this bedtime for as long as possible.

7-7.30 here too!

14 month old Boy goes up around 6.45 and takes around half an hour to get him ready, milk, teeth, story etc. He's usually asleep by 7.30 at the latest. He can last another hour if we need him to though.

At 4 months we could barely get him to stay awake til daddy got home around 6.15.

My 11mo has always gone to sleep about 6.30-7pm and she still gets tired at that time so I don't bother trying to keep her up. Plus she always gets up between 6.30-7am regardless what time she goes to bed!

1 yo DS usually goes to bed around 7.30. We can get away with a bit later at weekends if he has a long or later afternoon nap. If he wakes early from his nap we have to bring his bedtime forward to closer to 7 though.

DialMforMummy · 11/12/2011 20:48

14 months DS goes to bed between between 7.00/ 7.30. When he was one it was more 7.00. Sometimes he rubs his eyes before this time but we keep going till the usual time. As far as I can tell, he is never overtime by the time he goes to bed.

Sixteen month dd goes between six thirty and seven. She is very tired by then.

CountBapula · 12/12/2011 20:31

DS (nearly 15 months) goes to bed at 8 for the same reason as RitaMorgan, plus we don't get home from the CM's until 6:45pm on my working days.

Angel786 · 12/12/2011 21:23

8pm to 8am since she was 8 mths but moving it to 7/7.30 since she's started nursery last week.

deviladvocate · 12/12/2011 21:28

about 7.30 usually - sometimes earlier if she's not slept enough in the day, sometimes later if i'm busy mnetting or we're having a play with her older siblings.

RubyrooUK · 12/12/2011 21:35

....8pm for my 16 month old for the same reason as RitaMorgan and CountBapula - I don't get home from work until 6:45 on a good day. So 8pm, except my DS often pisses around till 9pm and gets up at at 5am. Sad

Nevercan · 12/12/2011 21:40

6.30pm for my 5 month old and 7pm for my two year old.
