Getting 8 week to sleep - desperate

Getting my 8 week old to sleep is a pain - she has to be rocked on chest. Driven in car or pushed in pram - swing or bouncy chair no good -,she just screams in them if tired. I CAN'T leave her to cry but the problem with all the methods I use is that as soon as movement stops she usually wakes up. Please help me as I have a poorly 4 and 2.5 year old.

Have you got a sling? My 4 month old DD is like this and I use a sling during the day and rock her to sleep at night. I'm also exhausted to sending sympathy your way.

Just marking my place in the hope that someone with wisdom and interesting solutions or ideas might be along. My nearly 8 week old sounds v similar to this. It's pretty hard work Sad and feels a bit soul destroying today. Somebody say reassuring things please...Wink MPD
