DS (13 months, never been the best sleeper - still really yet to sleep through the night consistently) had his injections on Monday. Monday night was ok-ish, possibly a bit below average.

Last night, the longest stretch of sleep was 1 hour (8.30 - 9.30), and after that he didn't manage more than 20 minutes in one go ALL NIGHT. I have had 30 minutes sleep (3 x 10 minutes). We tried calpol, co-sleeping, more clothes, less clothes, milk, one of us sitting up holding him, the lot - even put him in his buggy and rocked at one point! He was trying to get to sleep but didn't seem to be able to get comfortable, and whenever he did drop off he woke again within 20 minutes.

This morning he has spots so I guess he wasn't feeling well, and we are off to the doctors in a bit just to check it is nothing more than an injection reaction, and I am not sure what I am asking here - probably nothing, but just wanted to get it off my chest and tell some people who will understand!

Poor you, that sounds awful. Sometimes there is nothing you can do but survive until the next chance you get to sleep. Hopefully he'll sleeptoday and you can catch up. Hope all ok at drs
