DD turned 1 a couple of weeks ago. She has always slept incredibly well. 22.30 til 7 at 10 weeks 7 til 7 from 22 weeks. I can count on my fingers the number of disturbed nights we've had. OK, so we've been really very lucky.

Getting up at 7 she normally goes back for a nap about 9 and will sleep for 1.5 to 2 hours, thenhave very variable afternoon naps depending on what we're doing. At nursery she normally manages 2 x 1/2 hour naps.

Over the last few days she has started waking at 5.30, very awake and ready for the day. It has been suggested that she needs to drop the morning nap. Is she really awake so early cos she knows she can to back to bed to finish off in a couple of hours? When I'm not at work we will normally visit friends for lunch. One long post lunch nap would really interfer with this but as I get up for work at 5.30 I do prefer not to have to on my days off!
