6 month still not sleeping...help!

My 6 month old son is not sleeping through and I need some sleep! He is being breastfed as he cannot get to grips with taking formula from a bottle. He will let you put the bottle in his mouth but most of the milk ends up dribbling down his face as he cannot work out how to suck the teet properly. I put him to bed at 7pm with no problems and then he wakes up screaming at around 10pm. He will then wake up again another couple of times during the night. I have started weaning him and even on days when he seems to eat a lot of food he still doesn't sleep. I don't leave him to cry for too long as I'm anxious that he will wake up my other son. Any advice appreciated.

Sounds just like what my BF boys did at 6mo. They got over it! 6mo is very tiny still. I would not be expecting most babies to be sleeping 7pm - 7am by then.

To be honest, I'm not expecting him to sleep from 7am to 7pm but would like current sleeping patterns to at least get better!

The only thing I would look at is whether he is getting enough sleep in the day, because if he isn't this could cause night wakings.
