Ok it has been a big day and ds fell asleep on the way home at about 3pm. He woke when we came inside and was unbearably miserable, didnt want a drink, food, cuddles, stories, anything so I put him back in bed and hey presto straight back to sleep. Trouble is now it is 6pm, he has had no dinner and Im worried he will wake at "bedtime' or in the middle of the nite hungry and ready for tomorrow. Should I wake him or leave him, what would you do? He is 15mths by the way. Thanks

I'd leave him, and then do his bedtime routine when he wakes up. Bob did this when he'd had a big day and was fine to go back to sleep.

Ta for the reply bobbybob, had come to the conclusion that if he needs to sleep he will sleep and if he needs to eat he wont, hope you and yours have a lovely xmas.

You too, doing anything nice? We have the day on our own, and may go to the beach to build sandmen - like snowmen but Southern Hemisphere.
