6 month old - how many naps & frequency?

Hi

My DS (2nd child) is 6.5 months old and I need to get into a routine of napping so that when he starts nursery, I can let them know what he does/needs. At the moment, he naps whenever he wants to, so long as its not too close to bed time, I don't mind.

What should he/does he need? At the mo, he is awake 6.30am. 1st nap is around 9am/9.30am. 2nd nap around lunchtime, sometimes before and sometimes after. Occasional nap around 4pm but often skips it.

Does this sound right? Is it enough sleep?

He's fast asleep in bed by 6.30pm so gets 12 hours on a night, although broken as wakes lots when dummy falls out etc.

Thanks
