Sleeping in own bed!!

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone can help me, I'm putting my 5 month old into her own room and new cot this weekend. Has anyone got any tips as to what they did??

Am new to this so sorry if I reply back late!!

Hi Moo

My 4 month old slept in his own room for the first time last night. I prepared him by putting him in there for all his daytime naps for the last couple of weeks so that he was familiar with his surroundings.

He slept from 7pm to 5:30. Result!

Ah brilliant, thats v good! I will give that a try!!

Has your LO got a night light? If so what sort. Am trying to find one that is not too bright. Also am not very keen on the monitor I have. Any suggestions??

Nope, no night light, but the room seems to get a lot of natural light which seeps in round the curtains.

We have the John Lewis own brand monitors - they seem to work really well, and have a useful room thermometer feature.
