Babies and Cuddly Toys

I know little babies shouldn't sleep with teddies etc, but when did your child start taking a favourite toy to bed to cuddle? At the moment my 9 month old has a very tiny dog (just a few inches high) which he loves and I let him sleep with as it's clearly not a suffocation hazard, but if he takes any other toy to bed I sneak in and remove it after he's asleep just in case.
Am I being over cautious? He can crawl, stand etc

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

i wouldn't have thought there would be a problem, especially as ds is mobile

My dd (12mo) has slept with a little dog from probably about 8/9 months when she seemed to start taking comfort from it. Never gave it a thought really.

Ta, I think you're right, the big dog can stay!
