Newborn sleep...

only day2 & trying to make it a mire positive experience than with Dd. Still waiting for milk to come in but putting him to the breast whenever he stirs/roots. Having lots if cuddles.

Have wires re co-sleeping but he is still so wee I can't expect him to sleep in a cot especially as milk not even here yet. At moment just holding him after winding/when he comes off breast and nap till he stirs then back feeding.

Is that ok/safe? We don't smoke and don't feel like any vino (yet!)

Do you mean worries about cosleeping? I think if it feels right then do it. As long as you are doing it safely.

This leaflet is good for explaining how to do it safely.

The main things are not letting the baby get too hot, trapped under the covers, not smoking or drinking and making sure the bed is nice and firm. Enjoy your newborn snuggles.
