oh and a 5 for them all! :)

Sleepglorioussleep · 31/08/2011 05:18

Dd1 a2, ds a5, dd2 a1. I can't say I've wittingly done differently with any of them. And dd2 was by far the worst tiny baby sleeper-two to three hour awake stretch between 0 and 6 weeks.

butternut234 · 31/08/2011 05:34

E5...

debka · 31/08/2011 07:07

DD1- A2 (but we did CC for naps and she just 'got it' at night)

DD2- B2/3 (at 6mo)

papooshka · 31/08/2011 07:12

DD1 was A2 (altho was 3 months almost to the day)
DS1 was A3 (at 8 months)

bagelmonkey · 31/08/2011 07:18

E3 at the moment.

ballstoit · 31/08/2011 07:18

DC1 - B3
DC2 - B5
DC3 - F5 (night weaned with help from 3 swimsuits, no DP!)

threetimesabridesmaid · 31/08/2011 07:19

B2/3 (at 6.5mths)

4 nights of hell followed by heavenly 7-6 sleeping through (14mths now)

Bearcrumble · 31/08/2011 07:24

B4. I was so against CC, thought people who did it were child abusers etc. but after 9 months of hourly/two hourly wakings I cracked. It didn't actually take very long but I still feel guilty. He usually sleeps through or wakes once now which I can cope with. If he wakes now I give him boob and put him back down. He's 18 months.

pixi2 · 31/08/2011 07:27

DS is 2, slept through from 12 weeks old till 1 yr ( after a bad month and a half of chicken pox, croup, asthma attacks and flu and something else I've forgotten he's not slept through since except on odd occasions).

DD is 13 weeks. She sleeps in my bed cos she settles faster and it means I get a few more mins sleep.

Tweetinat · 31/08/2011 07:39

A4 here, just stopped waking at night around 11months with the very occasional blip till around 15m. Started waking v early to compensate though. Think I'd rather have one night feed where he falls immediately back to sleep than 430/5 wakeup calls!

Tortoiseonthehalfshell · 31/08/2011 07:46

D5, I think, or maybe A5?

I weaned gradually from 14-16 months and the night feed was the last to be cut out. We did that by replacing it with a bottle of cow's milk, and DH did the night feed during that transition time.

She started sleeping through on and off at 18 months without further intervention - we never refused to give her a night time bottle. She didn't consistently sleep through until 2.

Sofabitch · 31/08/2011 07:52

Dd1 A4
Ds1 A3
Ds2 A3
Dd2A1 (sorry)

varicoseveined · 31/08/2011 14:45

With DD, D5, at 14 months old or so. We'll see how DS (7.5 months) goes...

notenoughsocks · 31/08/2011 14:53

D3 for me.

I was holding out for a 'perfect A' but realised that it wasn't going to happen soon enough for me. Whilst all my friends babies were waking up less and less, my DS was waking up more and more. He seemed to increasingly enjoy the social aspects of the whole night feed/nappy changing thing which was very cute and lovely and infuriating.

The next thing I am holding out for sleep wise is the bit where DS decides that he fanices a 'lie-in' at weekends.....

BenRoo · 31/08/2011 17:35

Lol @ notenoughsock
we'll all be waiting with you Wink

It did take 4 non sleepers to get on that just sleep but to be fair I constantly worried. I'd wake up in fear and pain. I'd phone the midwife's asking how long before I should wake her lol.

Babieseverywhere · 31/08/2011 22:11

I have A5, A5 and A1 !

First two children slept through at 18/20 months but sleep loving number three slept through from 3 weeks, despite being EBF and cosleeping with me.

Second A5 was loads easier to deal with by cosleeping, letting him sleep on sofa downstairs with us in the evenings.

With first child I spent hours of my life lying next to her or sitting next to her, waiting for her to go back to sleep x 3 times a night what a waste of time.

Well, DS didn't go to his Nannas last night as she didn't have the travel cot (it was elsewhere and waited for us to get there all packed up (and hyped up) before telling us Angry)
Set another date for Sunday Smile

On the plus side the 2nd night of DH settling went well, only 2 night wakings 10mins + 15mins Grin
Although, judging from the snoring coming from upstairs you'd think he'd been up all night Wink

E4, but making great progress with help from dp.

We're down from waking and feeding all night to one feed in the middle. She's waking less and less. No cc,, but not feeding to sleep and making her go gradually longer between feeds.

UKSky · 02/09/2011 21:13

A4 - DD now 13 months started sleeping through at 9 months on her own.

BenRoo · 05/09/2011 15:03

For any of you E's out there
My DS slept out (at his Nanna's) last night and only woke once,shush-patting for 10 mins at 1am and he was off again and then woke at 6.30am.
I am convinced this is due to 4 nights beforehand of my DH settling him during the night I.e. Night-weaning.
And my DS is napping really well today.
So very proud of both of my boys :-)
Just wanted to share Wink
Feeling very optimistic Grin
until the next sleep regression
