How much sleep should the average 8 month old baby have during the day? Does any one know?

Don't know but my ds is 8mths and doesn't usually have more than 2 x 1hr naps, and often he has less.

the average sleep for this age is around 14 hours with 2.5-3hours being daytime sleep. Of course, some babies may need more or less than this.

P&P, hello again

My 8 month old DS has a nap of 30-45 minutes at about 9.30am (this used to be an hour and a half but about 2-3 weeks ago he just suddenly shortened it) and then another nap of one and a half to two hours after his lunch at about 1.00pm.

He goes to bed at 6.30pm

HTH - how's the feeding going?

peachandpear · 06/12/2005 21:16

Ah, sounds like my DS is napping just right then. Just wondered!

Hello busywizzy! Feeding is a nightmare. He is being a complete tart! Think I sussed his problem though.... he has discovered his sweet tooth. Damn. May start a thread on this! And you?
