Bedroom temp

Our bedroom is currently 29 degrees! Fan is broken and so I have put DS in just a nappy and sleeveless vest in the spare room, in his travel cot. The gro temp thingy is saying that it's 24 degrees in there, so more bearable.

DS is 13 weeks and I don't feel that he's ready to go in the room on his own, so planning to move him to our (hopefully) cooled down room at dream feed o'clock.

My question is, what do you deem to be too hot? And does anyone have any clever tricks on how to cope? Getting fan sorted tomorrow as London is set to be 30+ degrees Shock.

Have you got windows and doors open for a through draft?

At that temperature I would be checking really regularly. (Admittedly I'm anally paranoid about bedroom temperature though!)

Yes, got all of the windows open and waited for him to be asleep before I open everything up in his room again. We normally have blackout blinds and curtains shut as a sleep cue, so although blinds are down (they seem to retain heat), I have pulled curtains. They're still flapping though.

I am also v.paranoid. Considered putting him in the hallway as this seems to be the coolest place in our shoebox flat.
