Help!
Took DD, almost 6 months, on aeroplane yesterday to move to our new home. Flight (delayed, making things wirse), just over 1 hour, so not long. She missed her lunchtime and afternoon naps. She woke at least every hour overnight and I have only been able to get her to have 3 very brief naps today by feeding her to sleep. I didn't want to revert to this, but felt that with everything so new she might need the comfort.
She's never been a great sleeper, but I had just sorted out getting her off to sleep by shh-patting before we left. And it was working really well. Previously she was sleeping for up to 6 hours when she went to bed at night and then waking once or twice more, but she hasn't slept for much over 3 hours at night for about a month now either.
She's EBF and mostly I feed her if she wakes at night if it's been over 2.5 hours since last feed. Not sure if that's the right thing to do, but I'm often so tired it's the quickest way to get back to sleep.
Please someone tell me this will get better soon. I'm exhausted.
Any tips gratefully appreciated.
